Nietzsche: “Our writing tools are also working on our thoughts.”

Friedrich Nietzsche is said to be the first philosopher to have ever used a typewriter (pic above). The mechanization of his writing, as Kittler puts it, changed his style from arguments to aphorisms and from thoughts to puns. Again, the operating difficulties of the Writing Ball “made Nietzsche into a laconic.”
